President Talabani looking to address the political crisis with a large delegation from the Iraqi List
His Excellency President Jalal Talabani, on Friday, in Sulaymaniyah, a large delegation from the Iraqi List, headed by Dr. Iyad Allawi, head of the list, which included House Speaker Osama Najafi and Deputy Prime Minister Saleh al-Mutlaq and Finance Minister Rafie al-Issawi and several other leaders of the members of the list.
In the meeting was to discuss ways and the importance of intensifying efforts to dismantle the current political crisis, and create a suitable platform of dialogue and joint action that contributes to the political breakthrough and lead the direction of work in order to focus on the common points among all political factions. In this regard, the delegation focused on the importance of continuing the crucial and effective role of President Talabani in order to gather political leaders on the table for frank and constructive dialogue to resolve all problems and thorny issues that hinder the political process. It was agreed unanimously to work toward a calm political atmosphere and stop the use of media as a tool to display the political problems and increase the band and as a means to view and views that exacerbate the problems do not result in providing a positive atmosphere for dialogue and move towards a joint national action. In light of the results of this meeting and other gatherings and communication-intensive conducted by the President of the Republic during the last few days, it is hoped to continue his Excellency these efforts soon in Baghdad and begin to meet the top and to put the finishing touches to meet anticipated that brings together Iraqi leaders to find a definitive solution and comprehensive of all the issues through the National Conference the overall desired.
