Erbil, 15 December / December (Rn) - A member of the Finance Committee in the House of Representatives of Iraq, said Friday that the share of the budget of the Kurdistan region of the general budget of Iraq has not got beyond the rate of 5.12% since the fall of the former Iraqi regime in 2003 until now, pointing out that the information indicating to give 17% of Iraq's budget to the region, is incorrect.

Ahmed said Jaoshin told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) that "the information that talk about granting 17% of the annual budget of the Iraqi Kurdistan region, false and incorrect," adding that "the balance Iraq determined on the basis of the allocation of 17% to the region, but the content will be otherwise, where they are deducting expenses of the governing aim of reducing the region's share of the budget. "

He explained that "the proportion of budget allocated to the Kurdistan region of the general budget of Iraq in 2005 amounted to 4.10% , and in 2006 reached 4.8%, and in 2007 reached 5.11%, and in 2008 reached 9.10%, and in 2009 amounted to 9.11%, and in 2010 amounted to 5.11%, In 2011 amounted to 6.11%, as proposed for the year 2012 of $ 12 trillion and 600 billion and 985 million Iraqi dinars , the ratio of 7.10% of the budget year, the Iraqi Kurdistan region. stressing that the region's share of the financial revenues of Iraq has not got beyond the rate of 5.12%. For its part, said a member of the Committee itself, Najiba Najib's (Rn) that "the budget bill in 2012 included a proposal allocation of $ 832 billion dinars from the petro-dollar project and the development of regions and provinces to all provinces.
