discuss President Jalal Talabani, with the head of the Iraqi List, Iyad Allawi, the political situation in Iraq and the region and the challenges facing the political process and democracy in the country. This came during a meeting between them in the city of Sulaimaniya on Tuesday evening.
During the meeting, emphasizing the necessity of activating the communication and activate the positive ones between the political blocs in order to unify visions and attitudes about the present and the future of the country, especially as the post-American withdrawal from Iraq requires that the spiritual and the collective work of construction. Allawi and reviewed the results of his visit to the city of Kirkuk, expressing delight with the emergence of an encouraging brotherhood and joint work in the city between the various shades, as well as expanding the provision of basic services to citizens. Allawi also valued the role of President Talabani in the political arena in order to achieve mutual understanding and consolidate the national unity between all components.
