Shafaq News/
The "First Entrepreneurial Economic Fraternity" conference was held in the Jordanian capital, Amman, which was organized by the "Jordanian-Iraqi Brotherhood", with the aim of encouraging the creation of an investment environment among Jordanian, Iraqi and Arab businessmen and women, and setting plans with clear medium and long-term goals to increase investment between the two countries..

At the conclusion of its activities, the conference recommended the necessity of creating Arab investment partnerships and developing technological capabilities to advance production and industrialization in cooperation between Jordan and Iraq.

The conference, which was attended by the Iraqi Minister of Planning Khaled Najm, the Iraqi ambassador to Amman Haider Al-Adhari, and the heads of the economic and investment committees and their members from the Iraqi parliament called for the need to focus on investment opportunities in the field of oil and gas, and to empower the Arab region economically and developmentally to achieve integration and sustainable investment.

The conference’s organizing committee recommended, according to what was published by the official Jordanian agency, Petra, that the conference be held annually and involve other Arab countries to further benefit from investment opportunities, reduce the gaps and obstacles it faces in all fields between the participating countries, and expand the network of business communication.

The committee indicated that the "Second Pioneering Economic Fraternity" conference to enable Arab business and investment will be held in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.

The head of the conference's organizing committee and the "Jordanian-Iraqi Brotherhood", Shankul Qader, stressed the need to move forward and challenge all current circumstances in order to achieve sustainable development and a common Arab economy.
