The Central Bank of Iraq hosts Uruk University students
Today, Wednesday, the Center for Banking Studies at the Central Bank of Iraq organized an introductory symposium for the students of Uruk National University on the history of the Central Bank, its laws, and its role in the Iraqi economy.
The symposium was attended by the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, where he was exposed to the history of the emergence of the Central Bank and the stages it has gone through since its inception to the recent years and the challenges it has faced, as well as recent developments in its work mechanisms.
The Director General of the Center for Banking Studies also spoke about the Central Bank of Iraq's trends in supporting young graduates and job seekers through the initiatives granted by the Bank by granting them loans for small projects they wish to implement.
