chaired by the Minister of Agriculture Eng. Mohammad Karim al - Khafaji, on Wednesday, a meeting body of opinion in the ministry, in the presence of administrative ministry Mehdi Sahar al - Jubouri agent, Technical Agent Charter Abdul - Hussein, the legal adviser Raed Haddad and adviser to the ministry , Dr. Mehdi ligature Qaisi and gentlemen , members of the Commission, while He stressed the provision of fodder materials for livestock.

The ministry said in a statement that "at the beginning of the session, Al-Khafaji urged the attendees to continue to strengthen the role of the agricultural sector and its two parts to raise the level of the local product, and stressed the need to provide feed for livestock, including poultry."

Al-Khafaji directed "to include livestock breeders with support through the bran material to provide quantities of fodder to take into the hands of the breeders and to provide the necessary fodder materials for breeding."

The statement added, "As during the meeting, a number of important agricultural files were discussed,

including a decision to encourage farmers to grow palm shoots at subsidized prices in order to encourage their cultivation, in addition to emphasizing the cultivation of tissue shoots as it is a very advanced method due to the wide scientific progress it is witnessing in the field of palm and the introduction of The private sector is engaged in its cultivation because of its important economic feasibility, and the emphasis on afforestation through the horticultural department in accordance with the plans prepared in this regard.

A vote was also taken on a number of topics on the agenda of the session, including:

First / voting on a memorandum of understanding in the agricultural field between the Iraqi Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Agriculture in the State of Palestine after confirming the adoption of the amendments proposed by our ministry regarding the draft memorandum of understanding.

Second / vote on allocating the free model of the installed mechanical sapling seedlings for use in agricultural research and training courses on the advantages and benefits of using this seedling as it is a modern technology.

Third / vote on the request of cattle and buffalo breeders in Dhi Qar Governorate to supply bran at a subsidized price.

Fourth / Discussing the working mechanism of the General Company for Agricultural Supplies with regard to the marketing work of table eggs after finding an appropriate mechanism and obtaining fundamental approvals.
