Parliament confirms the role of industrial academic institutions in developing the economic sector

Today, Saturday, First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Hassan Karim Al-Kaabi stressed the role of industrial academic institutions in supporting and developing the economic sector.

The media office of the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament said in a statement that Mawazine News received, a copy of it, that “Al-Kaabi emphasized the role of institutions and academic and research sectors specialized in industry to support and develop the governmental, mixed and private economic sector,” pointing out that

“among the priorities of the state’s reform project during The next stage is the advancement of industrial and agricultural reality through serious and effective governmental academic participation, advice and coordination," indicating that

"this came during the reception of Al-Kaabi in his office today, Saturday, January 5, 2020, a number of professors of industrial management at the College of Management and Economics / University of Baghdad, in the presence of the Chairman of the Economic Committee And the parliamentary investment, Ahmed Al-Kinani, head of the Higher Education Committee, Muqdam Al-Jumaili, and a number of members of the relevant parliamentary committees.

He added, "Al-Kaabi studied with management professors a set of proposals to activate the industrial sector in general and with regard to graduates of industrial management departments in particular, stressing the need to add the job description and job title for industrial management graduates and allocate part of the job grades from deletion and creation to holders of primary and higher degrees, in addition to To work with the proposal to establish the Consultative Center for Industrial Management."

According to the statement, Al-Kaabi called on the government, especially the ministries of industry, oil, electricity, communications and others to "the necessity of full coordination with the academic authorities to develop the economic sectors and activate the faltering companies affiliated with these ministries, in addition to the state's role in developing economic research capabilities in the country and absorbing modern plans in the field of industrial marketing."
