Baghdad, 1 December / December (Rn) - Deputy Prime Minister Ruz Nuri Shaways Thursday on the need to support the work of the International Partnership for Iraq to improve the mechanisms of the partnership and to allow the completion of projects whose implementation rests with the Commission, noting that the Committee of the company is the mechanism adopted by the government the next stage.

Said Shaways during a meeting with members of the Association Committee with the international community, which was held at his office in Baghdad that "the Commission the company is the mechanism adopted by the government during the next phase in the coordination and cooperation with the international community," noting that "the Commission as a platform for consultation with international partners to improve the mechanisms of partnership the previous" .

The Shaways that "there is a cadre within the Iraqi ministries and agencies that have a basic handle a wide range of organizations and the international community," noting that "it is necessary to coordinate with these agencies in order to overcome all the obstacles in the completion of joint projects."

"The Iraqi government has allocated funds within the budget year 2012 to fund joint projects," noting that "the advisers and developed with the ministries of planning and financial mechanism to activate cooperation with relevant ministries."

In turn, the representative of the U.S. Agency for International Development, Alex Dickey during the meeting that "the Agency is committed to implementing projects in partnership with the Iraqi government over the next four years, especially in health and education."

"The Agency has allocated $ 146 million to complete these projects in a co-financing with the Iraqi government."
