To demonstrate the readiness of security forces after the withdrawal

A parliamentary source said earlier that the prime minister the leader of the armed forces Nuri al-Maliki has accepted an invitation to host the House of Representatives to demonstrate the readiness of Iraqi forces after the U.S. withdrawal scheduled end of the year.
This comes at a time when revealed to the parliamentary security committee for the presence of high-level reports confirm the ability of the armed forces and equipment to face any risk of a terrorist or foreign address.
The source said Parliament "morning": "The prime minister has agreed to host a session of Parliament next to be devoted to explain the government's preparations for the post-withdrawal."
The source said "not to determine the date for the hearing, or the agenda, but he stressed that the approval came after Maliki's letter included the presidency of the parliament invitation to host."
In a related context, said a member of the security and defense committee parliamentary Abbas al-Bayati, the continuation of the work of the mini-committee set up by the security committee to follow up the implementation of the withdrawal and application of terms of the agreement.
Bayati said in a statement to the "morning": that "the reports that we received from the points of high-level and generated confidence that any security vacuum will not happen, and assure the Iraqis that the Iraqi security forces from the army, police, intelligence, national security and the fight against terrorism is able to assume their responsibilities, although we need contracts to equip and develop our good air defense. "
He said al-Bayati: "The Committee continues to receive reports from the security authorities and stand by these reports on the preparations, where we hosted recently director of processing contracts and armament, and we found that there is a decades-sufficient, profitable and good, could increase the readiness to a large degree in the coming months."
