President of the Kurdistan Region receives ambassador of the United States of America in Iraq
I keep Mr. Massoud Barzani, head of the Kurdistan region on Monday in Salahuddin, Mr. James Jeffrey, U.S. Ambassador in Iraq and the delegation accompanying him during the meeting was to discuss the latest security developments in Iraq and the issue of complete security ministries and the fate of the Supreme Council for policy strategy and the process of withdrawing U.S. troops in Iraq and relations between the two sides in the framework of this withdrawal by relying on the strategic agreement between Iraq and the United States.'
The ambassador emphasized the role of President Barzani in bringing the views and positions of Iraqi political parties and noted: that we all need to Barzani, the president's efforts to reach a political solution and compromise. He also announced the concern of President Obama and his concern at the deteriorating security situation in Iraq, which requires to intensify all efforts to address them, stressing the importance of filling positions according to the security of benefits agreed upon. In the axis of the meeting, they discussed relations between the province and the federal government and the problems still outstanding between them, and in this action-oriented President Barzani pointed out the need to resolve these and other problems within the federal government
