Wasit signed a memorandum of understanding with the Iraqi company for the establishment of Turkish oil refinery

The president of the Investment Committee in the province of Wasit grace Yasiri Idris signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Council and the Turkish-Iraqi joint company for the purpose of establishing an oil refinery in the province.


Yasiri said that the "Memorandum of Understanding signed include the establishment of an oil refinery with a capacity of 150 thousand barrels per day, depending on the Ahdab oil."


He added: "This is the most important step was taken in the matter which investment product will provide oil products to maintain and contribute to this article and provide employment opportunities in this vital project."


Yasiri said that "the Wasit province in the coming days will see a large movement in the implementation of investment projects, which will include the construction, housing and others."
