U.S. Congratulates Iraq on Hydrocarbon Agreement (Baghdad and Erbil Reach an agreement on oil and Budget -The Agreement Goes Into Effect January 1, 2015 )
Baghdad and Erbil Reach an agreement on oil and Budget Khandan - reached the Kurdistan Regional Government and the federal government after a series of discussions held by the Kurdistan Regional delegation in Baghdad, an agreement on the export of oil from the Kurdistan region and the share of the Kurdistan region of the general budget. Under the agreement, the Kurdistan region will be issued 250 000 barrels of oil per day, as well as 300 000 barrels per day of Kirkuk, through Company (SOMO). The two sides also agreed to share the Kurdistan region from the federal budget, amounting to 17%, and the agreement is valid as of 01/01/2015. source
