The statement quoted the Chairman of the Presidium of the region, Fouad Hussein saying that "Barzani will meet with political parties that won a single seat in the parliamentary elections in Kurdistan," noting that "the formation of the new government of the province will be within the next ten days."
The President of the Kurdistan region held during the last days of meetings separately with each of the MDC and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) and the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Islamic Union and the Islamic Group, in order to talk about forming a cab eighth KRG.
