Foreign Minister, Hoshyar Zebari, discussed with the British Ambassador to Iraq, Simon Collis, the relations between Iraq and the United Kingdom, as well as the situation in the area.
A statement issued on Sunday, Oct. 27, by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the two discussed means to consolidate bilateral relations and political situation in the area, as well as improvement in the relations between Iraq and Turkey.
Zebari reviewed the ongoing international and regional diplomatic moves toward holding Geneva II Conference on the Syrian crisis.
The statement pointed that they reviewed preparations for holding next Joint Ministerial Committee Meeting out the preparations to consolidate sphere of commercial and economic cooperation between the two countries, due to be held in London by the end of November 2013. / End.
