IMO, two key statements here;

"the role of the central bank is to reduce these risks (low supply) and pursue monetary policy and its flight forward or retreat. "

"need to greater efforts by the central bank to revise the monetary policy tools and strengthen banking supervision, and accelerating the restructuring of the banking system."

So, like we've seen, the issue of cash supply is escalating....a third of the need according to this article. Flight forward to a revised monetary policy or retreat. Those are the options Iraq faces.

I don't know about you but retreat hasn't been the theme in Iraq for a while. More and more, time is on our side....the longer the status quo in this regard, the greater and growing need for the dinar to be Iraq's currency becomes.

that is a great thought shredd ----> anything attached too currency and value going up , wonder how long it would take c.b.i. to ramp -up- and start the printing of lower notes { unless they really did print these at the last september planning as they stated back then , and just put them in hideing , until the time for the dinar to gain it`s place in the market place , ---> those notes on the streets in iraq, must look like the rrats have eaten all, but a little to hold by now
