Erdogan accuses al-Maliki of trying to provoke a civil war in Iraq

Khandan - accused Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki of trying "to provoke a civil war in Iraq."

And Erdogan told reporters before leaving for Pakistan Wednesday 21 \ 11 \ 2012, "(Iraqi) regime wants trend toward civil war situation."

"We were always afraid of the possibility that cause a sectarian war, and fears began at this time realized little by little."

And Erdogan also expressed "concern" about the "potential conflict for oil" in Iraq.

The strained relations between Baghdad and Ankara over Turkey's refusal to hand over Iraqi Vice President Tariq al-Hashemi was sentenced to death in absentia.

The officially protested Baghdad in August to visit and Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu to Kirkuk.

And ruled out the Iraqi Council of Ministers Turkish National Company for Oil and Gas (TPAO) contract to explore oil in the south in early November.
