This really is no surprise as Maliki and Allawi have played the Arab countries against each other trying to gain an advantage.

Maybe Maliki, Allawi and the rest of the GOI will learn that playing all sides against the middle leads to the middle defending itself against all sides! Each one of the players are really the middle and don't realize it. Iraq just don't have enough horsepower to be playing these games. We have watched them play for 18 months and the game is coming to an end.

They will either join the rest of the world or fall with Assad and Iran! If they don't do the right thing all of the Arab world will turn on them. At that point Iraq will become three small, rich countries just like the rest of the OPEC nations with the exception of Saudi Arabia, struggling to hold on against the Islamic Extremist. The US will let them go as we will never turn on the Saudis.

Thanks Helend.
