Economic Center: Technological changes require reconsidering the work of banks

Today, Wednesday, the Iraqi Economic and Political Center presented an open invitation to the Iraqi government and relevant authorities, on the occasion of International Banking Day, for a comprehensive review of the work of banks in Iraq.
The director of the center, Wissam Hadmal Al-Hilu, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA):
“The date of the fourth of December every year coincides with International Banking Day, and on the occasion of this important global event,
we call on the government and relevant authorities to conduct a comprehensive review.” It is accurate for the work of both government and private banks.” He explained,
"There are indicators that confirm the necessary need to reconsider the work of government and private banks, and the modern and advanced technological changes the world is witnessing that have begun to cover the banking sector in most countries of the world." He called,
"The government, ministries, and relevant bodies to make the year 2025 the start of completely correcting the banking system in Iraq."
