An advisor to the Minister of Transport Karim Nouri told the Euphrates {News} "has been completed the basic design of the port of Faw. And we will start to build it in the next March."
Iraq says that the port will change the map of world maritime transport of goods being transferred from Japan, China and South East Asia to Europe via Iraq .
But Baghdad fear that affects the port of Kuwait on its Mubarak and other Iraqi ports in the Persian Gulf, the Iraqi government has not announced yet the official position of the port of Kuwait, although they sent a technical committee to Kuwait months ago. Finished.
