Iraq Ranks 62nd In The World In Terms Of Average Net Monthly Salary

Iraq ranked 62nd among a list of 105 countries in terms of the average net monthly salary of an employee, which amounted to $600 in Iraq, according to what was published by the American magazine "CEOs World".

Switzerland topped the world in terms of average income, according to what was published by the magazine, as the average monthly salary in the European country amounted to 6,142 dollars per month, followed by Singapore, Austria, and then the United States in the next third places in the world ranking with an average monthly salary ranging from 4,350 dollars to 3,721 dollars .

In the Arab world, the UAE ranked first and fifth globally, with an average monthly salary of $3,663, followed by Qatar in 11th place globally, with an average monthly salary of $3,168.

And in the third place in the Arab world came Saudi Arabia, with an average salary of 1888 dollars, and Kuwait ranked 26th globally, with an average monthly salary of 1854.45 dollars.

The Gulf Cooperation Council countries competed for the Arab leadership, as

Bahrain ranked 28th in the world, with an average of $1,728.74, while

Oman ranked sixth in the Arab world and ranked 30th globally, with an average of $1,626.64.

Despite the crises that Lebanon is experiencing, it has maintained an advanced rank at the Arab and international levels, among the list of 105 countries, as it ranked 47th globally, with an average salary of more than 837 dollars per month, while

Palestine ranked eighth in the Arab world, and 52nd globally with an average of 778 dollars.

According to the American magazine, which calculated the average net monthly salary after deductions in different countries around the world and compared the income in some rich and low-income countries,

Jordan and Iraq ranked 61st and 62nd globally, with a salary in the range of $600.

Morocco was first among the Arab countries in Africa, and 86th in the world with an average salary of $385, followed by Tunisia, then Algeria, while Egypt ranked last among the Arab countries on the list and 100th globally with an average monthly salary of $219.

Pakistan and Sri Lanka were at the bottom of the list in the world, with an average salary of not more than 165 dollars.
