Merkel calls Abadi to attend a meeting of the seven major countries

BAGHDAD / Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network (IMN) _ German Chancellor Angela Merkel and issued an invitation to Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi to attend the meeting of the seven major countries to be held in Germany, noting that the call represents support the seven countries of Iraq in the face of terrorism and the preservation of its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
A statement from the Prime Minister's Office that it came during a telephone call received by Abadi Friday also was the discussion of the political and security situation in Iraq and the region and the challenges they faced and the war on organizing Daash terrorist.
The statement said the German Chancellor and issued an invitation to Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi to attend the meeting of the seven major countries which will be held in Germany, noting that the call represents support the seven countries of Iraq in the face of terrorism and the preservation of its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The statement quoted Abadi, thanks to an invitation provided and attention to the situation in Iraq, adding that "economic conditions and difficult a challenge for Iraq, but we are seeking through some reforms and strategies to face them and overcome them. "
He pointed out that "the government past the liberalization of Iraqi territory from Conception Daash terrorist and we have understandings with the Kurdistan region for the Liberation of Mosul," explaining that "Iraq thank Germany for its help and waiting for more support in its war against terrorism."
