Two deputies for the National Alliance demanded Wednesday, activating the provincial Law No. 21 average.
The MP said Abbas al-Bayati told all of Iraq [where] Today we are expanding the powers of the provincial councils to manage the economic, service and financial files, noting that "he must be making some amendments to the Law No. 21, which guarantees the powers of the provinces in the exercise of their right."
For his part, MP Hilal Sahlani's [where] he "has to be as much as possible to add some amendments to Law No. 21, which amended the terms of the powers of provincial councils."
Sahlani said that "the provinces are not able to complete the tasks councils unless there is activation of the amendment to the law so that the 21 provincial councils to exercise its power, especially financial resources."
The House of Representatives at its previous session had voted to ratify on 23 June last provincial Law No. 21 of 2008 which provides administrative and legal broad powers to local governments, as promised to the Committee of the Regions and provincial parliamentary ratification of the law as "a national achievement for redress for the provinces to Tnagmh with the principle of administrative decentralization stipulated by the constitution, but the previous government challenged the amendment through submit a request to the Federal Court .anthy 2
