Tomorrow/Baghdad: head of the Association of private banks in Iraq Wadi Nuri Monday, launching an extended workshop for civil and private banks in coordination with the Central Bank to discuss the latest Iraqi dinar exchange rate against the u.s. dollar in the local market.

Said Nursi for "tomorrow", "the goal of this workshop is to identify mechanisms of cooperation with the new instructions issued by the Central and private banks obliged to deposit their capital if the Central Bank wanted to enter the foreign currency auction, the Central Bank."

"The workshop will look at the design and planning of a clear policy to maintain the stability of the Iraqi dinar against foreign currencies and its impact on the value of the local currency", stating that "banks almost unanimous on the importance of the launching conference in the near future to discuss the developments in the financial sector with the Central Bank and Government and private banks operating in Iraq."

Nouri noted that the "Association of banks looked ahead with Central Bank Governor Abdel Basset Turki Agency to coordinate all efforts to prevent the rising value of the dollar against the Iraqi dinar and its confusion to the Iraqi Street."

He was a member of the Parliamentary Committee on the economy and investment Deputy Aziz Sharif accused Al-mayahi, last week, the Central Bank actions intended for the demolition of the domestic economy, threatened to call the Mayor Abdel Basset Turki to Parliament if that policy is "suspicious".
