Iraq asked to provide a sophisticated Russian weapons

Rashid, according to the security and defense committee in Parliament that the Iraqi delegation that visited Russia recently called for supplying Iraq with sophisticated weapons like the weapons of the Russian army, adding that the Russian side promised to approve the request of the Iraqi side.
For the security and defense committee member Majed al-Gharawi, said in a statement singled out «morning» that the Committee during her recent visit to Russia asked for the security and defense committee in the Russian State Duma, supply Iraq with modern weapons like the weapons of the Russian army and to be suitable for the latest US arms existing techniques, which contracted by Iraq. He noted Gharrawi, that the Russian side of the security and defense committee parliamentary approval and promised to strengthen the ability of Iraqi security forces. A member of the security and defense committee in Parliament and a member of the Iraqi delegation Hoshyar Abdullah said in a press statement, that «the dialogue focused on the exchange of intelligence between the two countries and cooperation at the military level, especially in the field of arming and training.»
