concluded on Wednesday, the fourth Summit of Arab and South American in Riyadh, the center of focus of participation to promote economic cooperation and developing countries relations among them.
And opened a summit Tuesday in the presence of kings and the leaders of the Arab states and the leaders and the heads of South America, in addition to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
He said the Egyptian president at the opening: The trade exchange between Arab countries and Latin America, the size of grew from six billion dollars to more than 33 billion during the past decade, calling for strengthening of this exchange.
He added that Egypt «looks forward to more investment with Latin American countries ».
promised the king that« the opportunities to develop the economic relations between our countries and promising »and called for« the establishment of councils for the business, and to consider the signing of free trade agreements, and the avoidance of double taxation and promotion and protection of investments between the countries of the two regions, which will provide a framework organizationally and legally to promote trade flows between them ». The UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon called for the opening session of the Arab countries to emulate the experience of Latin American countries in stability. He said: «The hopes generated by the Arab Spring hit by conflict and instability, and authoritarian governments from Syria to Libya and other». He added that «countries of Latin America have achieved significantly move that looked to him a large number of people throughout the Arab world.» The summit is the fourth since 2005 between the member states of the League of Arab States and 12 countries of Latin America.
The summit an opportunity to discuss cooperation with the balanced economic capabilities on a global scale, especially in the field of oil that Saudi Arabia is the largest Exporters states.
